Hipster Conspiracy Releases Debut Music Video
Hip-Hop artist Hipster Conspiracy has released her new music video for the track “Sick” off her album Dysphoria.
The video is produced by Tequila Mockingbird Productions and directed by Rookie Morgan.
The music video was the production company’s first venture in producing content in a COVID world, and took numerous precautions to ensure the safety of the crew.
“We did a lot a research in what the bigger studios were doing, I was nervous, but nothing was mare important to me than making sure the talent and crew felt safe and comfortable.” - Cameron A. Mitchell, Producer.
This is Hipster Conspiracy’s inaugural music video.
“This song captures several painful memories for me, but mostly it's about feeling isolated and misunderstood. Humanity doesn't do enough for those struggling with mental issues. It's easy to look at someone with a physical ailment and empathize, but when the problems are intellectual or emotional it's a different story.” - Hipster Conspiracy
The album Dysphoria is an expression and reflection of her experience with her sexuality, mental health, addiction, and abuse.
“I also wrote sick to vent my own personal fears and frustrations. It's one of a few songs on the album where I openly discuss my gender, ethnicity, and mental health with little to no filter. I think my main desire is to be honest and open.” Hipster Conspiracy
