Two Chicks And A Truck Released As Web Series
Today, Tequila Mockingbird Productions released their new reality web series project titled Two Chicks and a Truck.
Production of the show began back in February 2018, the team traveled north to Watsonville, CA, to meet Dawn Bowie and Kelli Dicicco Siefke, the owners of Carriage House Collectibles.
The team followed Dawn and Kelli from the Santa Cruz Flea Market to various “picks” in Watsonville.
Tequila Mockingbird Productions has crafted this mini web series to bring attention to these highly watchable women who are wildly funny and highly creative. The ladies hunt for ready-to-sell antique treasures and collectibles for their store, but they also refurbish/repurpose/Frankenstein the hopeless finds. For example, a gutless banjo becomes a quirkily charming wall clock and a Victrola cabinet transforms into a steampunk mini-bar.
Dawn and Kelli draw a crowd wherever they go, as people are held captive once they put their talking heads together, which is what drew the production team of Tequila Mockingbird to create a show around them. The added beauty of the Central California communities like Watsonville, Salinas and Santa Cruz (to name just a few) make Two Chicks and a Truck eye-candy for viewers across the nation. People either want to be them, be friends with them -- or occasionally yell at them, for some of their more outlandish plans for some projects. This is a show to share with friends and family, to all have something new, fun and cheerfully inspiring to watch AND talk about on social media.
The limited series will roll out on Sunday, February 14th on two Tequila Mockingbird Productions platforms: Facebook and YouTube. Test audiences have already proven that adding pizza and a bottle of wine (or Watsonville’s own Martinelli’s Cider) makes for a perfect Gal’s/Pal’s/Valentine’s Night In.
